Some people believe that if you are a good Samaritan and always looking for ways to help others, chances are, you are an Earth Angel.
However, I believe that there is an angel in all of us. We have fallen angels, like Lucifer who roam the earth to create havoc and cause chaos. Then we have angels who only serve the Lord.
There is good and evil in all of us. Imagine a good angel sitting on your right shoulder and a bad angel sitting on your left shoulder. When you do things right, the angel on your right shoulder is tugging on your heart strings. If you know something is bad or wrong,but do it anyways, the angel on your left shoulder has taken control.

Besides our parents and grandparents, our teachers, doctors, fire fighters, police officers, veterans, business owners, and neighbors from all over the world are growing old and they need our help.
For some seniors in their 80’s and 90’s, their children live too far way. For others, they are the only sole survivor in their family so there is no one else to help them. The ones that need help the most have many illnesses and will eventually require long-term care.

Those who are affected the most are in the “Sandwich Generation”. They not only have to take care of their children, but now they also must take care of their aging parent(s). The responsibilities of managing both roles are overwhelming, with or without a spouse to assist.
Caregiver burnout is caused by over exhaustion. When someone is constantly being pulled in many directions, with so little rest, their immune system is compromised. Without some respite care, stress and depression become debilitating.

The Lord grants us free will. Therefore, we have the right to choose what we do with our time, energy and money.
We each have a bank account in heaven. What we do is between each of us and the Lord. There is no requirement for you to register your good deeds anywhere or report to anyone.
When you perform any type of deed, you should not expect anything in return, especially from the people you are helping. Wonderful things will start to happen to you and your family when you least expect it. That’s just the way of the universe and God.
